LIVE NOW🔴➤ State of Origin Game 1 Live
The Queensland Maroons and the NSW Blues kickstart their State of Origin rivalry in Game 1 at Suncorp Stadium on Wednesday night.
The State of Origin is scheduled to make a comeback to Suncorp Stadium, the original location of the series opener back in 1980. Queensland's 24 State of Origin victories throughout the years, compared to NSW's 17, give the Maroons the historical advantage over the Blues.
Both teams have won three titles apiece over the past six years, and NSW won the 2024 State of Origin series 2-1 after rallying from a Game 1 defeat.
With several of the biggest names in the competition out due to injury, Laurie Daley and Billy Slater have had a lot to consider before selection.
